New Dimension of Entertainment- Multiplex

From old times itslef, entertainment plays a major role in human's life. We can find out various types of entertainment like drama,art,music, film,sports etc. Film is one of the most important among them. 

   At first, single screen old type of theatres came into existence in which film was being run by reela technology. It is old technology. As innovations took place in technology, 'Multiplex' concept of theatres i.e., many screens in one theatre complex has started. Maris Complex,Tiruchirapalli,TN is the first multiplex of India with 5 screens.

  In single screen theatres,we can see many problems like seating problems,no proper infrastructure, poor technology screening etc. People can't watch good quality films in such theatres due to poor techniques which they have used. They just use normal screens. 

  But,in case of multiplex, they are using Silver and Red screens in which we can feel live quality and clarity. Now,local single screen theatres are using UFO cinema technology in which they should download films from satellite and show in theatres. In multiplex, they use 2K and 4K projectors which show film in high resolution. These contain 3000 K.W lamp which have the age of 1400 continuous hours. They are using Dolby 7.1 and 5.8 audio devices in their sound system.
For old type of film projection, it needs man-power i.e.,one or more persons keep on changing the reels and they must pay attention to movie till the end. Now, there is no reel system. All are became automated. In reel, they could run the movie only 4times a day. They should use seperate reels for every show. But now,  in multiplex, they can show plenty shows as per their input programming. 

  The feel inside the theatres also differs from olden types to new multiplex. In multiplex, push back seats,air condition,fast food services etc.are provided. Multiplex can run many movies at one time,so people can watch movies of their choice. Generally, multiplex have 5-8 screens within so,they can run many movies.

   Multiplex is also helpful to movie makers because there is no problem of piracy. To start running of film, the distributor's key code is very essential. It's like a scratch card,without that,they can't run the movie. 

Multiplex use high quality JBL amplifiers in order to provide clear audio clarity of the movie. Nowadays Dolby Atmos 7.1, 5.8 are the main technology which is being used by multiplex. 

  So,as compared to the old age theatres, now a lot of changes/advancements of technology have been taken place. As the result of improvement of technology we come across the concept of multiplex by which we can watch movie in high quality and can get all amenities. This is the advancement of technology which effected to a genre positively!
